The Sylvan Area
Foundation is a community foundation which was established in 2002 due to
growing concern over the declining enrollment of the
FACTS:
SAF functions as a
charitable educational not-for-profit corporation.
It’s purpose is to provide
financial support for preserving, maintaining and improving education in the
Sylvan Unified district and economic development of the communities within the
SAF sponsors Casino
Night after the Alumni banquet each Memorial Day weekend this tradition was
established in 2004.

are what make SAF school and community projects

SAF is a member of the
Kansas Association of Community Foundations, KACF is dedicated to strengthening

generations, people lived their entire lives close to their birthplace and
